Montessori Sr. Secondary School activities like the Tiny Tykes Resto for pre-primary students are designed to bridge classroom learning with real-world social skills. Children learn the correct placement and use of cutlery (plates, spoons, forks, and glasses) through practical demonstrations. Key habits taught include washing hands before meals, sitting in the correct posture, chewing with mouths closed, and using napkins. Student’s practice using polite phrases like “please,” “thank you,” and “excuse me,” and participate in role-playing as “hosts” and “guests” to build confidence. Many sessions include teaching children to recite a thank-you prayer before eating to foster mindfulness and appreciation.

It sounds like a spectacular and heartwarming event! The “Golden Rhythms” annual day at Montessori Sr. Secondary School. seems to have been a true celebration of talent and inspiration. Mrs. Deepika Patil, IPS, served as the guest of honour, delivering a powerful message focused on character and discipline. Her “wonderful message” specifically encouraged first and second-grade students to embrace curiosity while reminding parents of their vital role in nurturing young minds. The “Golden Rhythms” theme was brought to life through a variety of dance performances, ranging from traditional to contemporary, which kept the audience spellbound. The event successfully brought together students, teachers, and parents to celebrate the school’s journey and the achievements of its youngest learners

On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary, the Kurnool District Literary Association, in collaboration with Cluster University, organized an essay writing competition where Poojitha won a prize. Three students from our school—Poojitha, Leelamrutha, and Siri—participated in the event. All three received participation certificates and a book on Mahatma Gandhi

The 2025-26 Class X farewell at Montessori Senior Secondary School clearly hit all the right notes with those heartfelt speeches and high-energy performances. Teachers likely shared final words of wisdom and “insider” classroom jokes, while the students’ speeches probably brought a few tears (and laughs) as they looked back on their journey from primary school to board exams.Students showcased their talents through dance and music, a tradition often led by the Class IX juniors to honor their seniors. This batch is particularly special as their farewell coincides with the school’s Golden Jubilee year celebrations, which kicked off recently with high-profile events attended by the Governor.

Montessori Sr. Secondary School celebrated the 77th Republic Day on 26 January 2026, with a series of high-energy patriotic events involving students from across all grade levels. Young speakers delivered addresses emphasizing the importance of the Indian Constitution, the sacrifices of freedom fighters, and the responsibilities of future citizens. Senior students led a disciplined marchpast, demonstrating teamwork and national pride. This was followed by a synchronized mass drill performance. Students across various grades showcased India’s heritage through: Tricolour-themed dances and folk performances reflecting “Unity in Diversity”. A soulful heritage dance by senior girls and energetic routines by junior students. Exceptional students were often felicitated with prizes for their academic and co-curricular achievements during the event.

January 23, 2026, is Vasant Panchami, making it a highly auspicious day for Class IX students to begin their Class X academic journey. Traditionally known as Saraswati Puja, this day marks the birthday of the Goddess of Wisdom and the arrival of spring, symbolizing a fresh start and the pursuit of knowledge.

Sukruth, a VIII MAP student, for securing the third prize in the PM Shri quiz competition held today, January 23, 2026, at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kurnool. This achievement highlights his academic dedication and quick thinking in a competitive environment.

A program was successfully held in January 2026 for students who participated in the Ramayana written test organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). The event featured participation from Radhika (VHP Regional Secretary) and Manikantha (Secretary). The primary aim of the examination is to inculcate moral values in students and generate deeper awareness about the life and teachings found in the Ramayana. Students who excelled in various events associated with the test were awarded prizes, including medals and certificates, to recognize their passion for Indian heritage

We are proud to share that a role play on “Viksit Bharat” was conducted as part of the District-Level RANGOTSAV Competition under Samagra Shiksha, Andhra Pradesh, at DIET College, Thandrapadu. In this prestigious competition, the Montessorians (from Lakshya Juniors block) delivered an outstanding performance and secured the First Place in role play. They are selected for the State Level Competition which will be held on 23rd Jan at Vijayawada.

As part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations, Montessori Senior Secondary School proudly presents its grand Science Expo titled “PANCHATATVA”, to be held on 7th January 2026. PANCHATATVA, inspired by the five fundamental elements of nature—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space—celebrates the deep connection between science, nature, and human life. The expo provides a vibrant platform for students to showcase innovative scientific models, experiments, and ideas that reflect creativity, inquiry, and sustainable thinking. Through this expo, students explore real-world scientific concepts, environmental responsibility, and technological advancements, fostering curiosity and scientific temper. PANCHATATVA stands as a tribute to five decades of academic excellence and the school’s commitment to nurturing young scientific minds.

APPUSMA, Kurnool conducted competitions for the students from different schools in Kurnool in various categories. Today prizes were given to the students in Saint Joseph Degree College. This program is attended by our correspondent Sri K. Rajashekar sir. Many students from our A camp school who won the prizes have received them. Congratulations to all of them.

The Pre-Primary Annual Function of Montessori Sr. Secondary School was a delightful celebration titled “Peppy Pop.” On 12th December 2025. The event beautifully showcased the vibrant world of colours through the joyful performances of our students.
The programme began with energetic colour-themed dances that highlighted the beauty and diversity of shades found in nature. The young performers, dressed in bright and creative costumes, brought each colour to life with their innocent enthusiasm. The students also confidently delivered dialogues and interesting facts about colours, demonstrating not only their stage presence but also their growing knowledge and communication skills.
Overall, Peppy Pop was a vibrant and memorable showcase of creativity, learning, and the joyful spirit of childhood. The dedication of the teachers and the support of the parents played a significant role in making the event a grand success. The children truly filled the day with colour, happiness, and pride.

As many as 4000 students of various Montessori educational institutions recited verses from the Bhagavad Gita for 20 slokas here on Thursday 4th Dec, 2025. The recitation of verses, part of the ceremony of Gita Mahotsav, was held at the Montessori Indus School, Kurnool.
Chief Guest J.D.LAKSHMI NARAYANA garu is an Indian politician and retired Indian Police Service attended the ceremony of the Gita Jayanti Festival. The Guest said, “It is a matter of pride that the message of the Gita has reached the entire universe from the land of Kurnool. Today, the verses of the Gita resonated across the country and abroad, reflecting the power of India’s spiritual culture.”
He said, “It was under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the message of the Gita went global and the day was celebrated internationally since 2016”. Dr. VINUSHA REDDY said the waves generated by chanting the mantras of the Vedas and Upanishads provide energy to the body.
Children’s Day Celebrations
“Every child is a different kind of flower that altogether make this world a beautiful garden.”
Children’s Day was celebrated with vigour and enthusiasm by the children and teachers on 14 November 2025. The teachers made the occasion memorable for the children with a special assembly. The children were treated to a melodious medley of songs followed by a colourful dance performance by their teachers. The day ended on a memorable note with the children feeling special as they went home wearing their colourful butterfly crowns which had been made with love and affection by their class teachers.

Golden Jubilee celebration is not just about celebrating a day but celebrating a journey. It is time for reflection, celebration and gratitude. It is a milestone that marks our success and progress. It is an occasion to recall the marvellous ways in which the school has fulfilled its mission in imparting quality education, moral and spiritual values, and discipline in students.
Montessori Group of Schools solemnized its Golden Jubilee inaugural ceremony on 12th November. Montessori School was established in the year 1976. by Smt. P. KALYANAMMA garu & Sri K. NARAYANA garu. The 50 Glorious years of enlightening began with rejoicing in the history of Montessori School.
On that day – 12th November 2025 with great pride and privilege we welcomed our Chief Guest – Sri S. ABDUL NAZEER garu, Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh. The Guests of Honour were Sri T.G. VENKATESH garu, Ex- Minister & other MLA’s of Andhra Pradesh. who graced the occasion. The celebration started with great zeal and enthusiasm with the National anthem.
Our Chief Guest – Sri S. ABDUL NAZEER garu appreciated our school for focussing not only on the education but other aspects like sports, cultural which fostered all-round development of students.
It was a day to express gratitude to our ex- teachers and Jubilarians for their continuous efforts in forming and moulding the young buds to reach out to their dreams. It was a golden opportunity to felicitate the managers and principals for their dedicated service rendered for the continuous growth of the school in their respective tenure.
The entire programme was well appreciated by the school management, Educators, Block Educational officers, Politicians, Ex-Students, Ex-teachers, parents, well-wishers. The audience were kept in rapt attention, parents were left brimming with pleasure and satisfaction to be the part of the occasionto witness to logo unveiling. The programme concluded with the national anthem.
As we celebrated this milestone, we are reminded of the invaluable role, education plays in shaping young minds and fostering holistic development.




In the Montessori school, the 150th year of our National Song Vande Mataram was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The song, written by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee in 1876 in Bengali, became a source of inspiration during India’s freedom struggle and was officially recognized as the National Song of India in 1950. To mark this special occasion, students of NCC presented a soulful rendition of Vande Mataram that filled the atmosphere with devotion and pride. Teachers explained the meaning and importance of the song, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the deep love we must always hold for our Motherland.

The celebration of Diwali, ‘The festival of lights’ came alive at Montessori Sr. Secondary School, A-camp on the 18th of October when the whole school wore a festive look with Diyas and lanterns and the ground floor hall in bright colors. The rangoli done by students added the perfect setting to the festivity. The Principal addressed the gathering and brought out the essence of the festival – a celebration of life and goodness. Students talked about the significance of the festival – how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. Besides sensitizing students to the ill-effects of crackers, they also shared the guidelines on being safe while bursting them. The assembly concluded with Principal Ma’am giving away the message of a clean, safe and a bright Diwali.

To mark the victory of good over evil, Dussehra was celebrated at Montessori Sr. Secondary School. The school wore a festive look. An Inter house activity was organised where by the Students came dressed up as various characters from Ramayana. They enacted the scenes from different kinds of Ramayana. They brought to life scenes from Lord Ram’s childhood, his wedding, his years of exile, the abduction of Sita, and at last the slaying of Ravan. Everyone around enjoyed the serene atmosphere created by the chanting of Chaupais. This year, the school took an eco-friendly initiative to celebrate the festival without burning an effigy.

TATA Building India School Essay Competition ,2025-26 was conducted, K. Sowmya (9 Agni) Gold medal, S. Leelamrutha(9 Agni) Silver medal, T. Varsha(10 Akash) bronze medal along with certificate of merit were bagged students of Pragnya block in English language.

Felicitation Ceremony on Teacher’s Day

“Teachers Encourage Minds to Think, Hands to Create and Hearts to Love.”
Montessori Group of School, Kurnool hosted a ‘Felicitation Ceremony’ organized by Montessori Indus School, to enhance the morale of the teachers and to give recognition to their commendable hard work and dedication. The Ceremony began with auspicious lamp lighting ceremony followed by welcoming the Guest, Ms. Gouru Charitha accompanied by our Principal Ma’am Ms. Rama Jyothi. The teachers were felicitated with the trophies and certificates. The event concluded with the words of inspiration and gratitude from Principal Ma’am, conveying that compassion and perseverance lead to smooth learning and teaching process.


Grandparents Day at Montessori Sr Secondary School was an absolute delight as students of Nursery, PP1 & PP2 and came to school on Friday morning to walk their grandparents through the school corridors. Grandparents had the opportunity to visit the classrooms and create greeting cards with their grandchildren. They enjoyed reading short stories, participating in music & dance, playing with puppets, and creating unforgettable memories through hand-printed cards as takeaways. “It was a great initiative as my son called his grandparents to visit Kurnool to bring them to school today. “ stated a parent. Our young at heart and playful grandmothers competed in musical chairs that encouraged grandfathers to participate with teachers cheering for them. Our entire learning community of stakeholders and leadership team joined in the games to celebrate Grandparents Day – a memory that is now imprinted deep in our joyful hearts.



The most fragrant and sweetest language is Telugu. Montessori School pride to celebrate the significance of such a beautiful language. To bring out the richness of this language and to get it recognised in the mainstream a lot of events was led under the guidance of Gidugu Venkata Rama Murthy. To celebrate his birth anniversary and to pay our tribute to such a prominent personality, Every year 29th August,2025 our Montessorians celebrated Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam. Mesmerizing dances, songs, speech and skit added to the glory of the language. The students became aware that our mother tongue has a prominent role in our lives for which many eminent personalities have made contributions. The students took the responsibility to help reach the language to its pinnacles.


The UCMAS Abacus program is more than just an activity — it is a pillar of our academic enrichment initiatives. Our students continuously excel in regional and national abacus competitions, bringing laurels to the school. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants and winners for their remarkable achievements and unwavering dedication. Their success reflects the strength of our school’s vision to empower every student to reach their highest potential.






Children from the Montessori Sr. Secondary School, Whitefield celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15th of August, 2025 with full zeal and Zest. All the children were dressed in tricolor to represent the National Flag. The teachers of the high school guided their respective class students and the children presented different patriotic dance and song performances painting the entire campus in the flamboyant hues of Saffron, White and Green. They also stood up in respect and sang the National Anthem together. The children were educated on the history and importance of freedom and Independence in our country. The celebration filled the whole ambience with festivity and patriotism.


A “boycott foreign goods” rally in Montessori school can be a powerful way to promote local products and foster a sense of national pride, especially when linked to historical movements like the “Swadeshi movement”. Such rallies can educate students about the economic and social impact of supporting local businesses and industries, encouraging them to make conscious consumption choices.

Chess is a game we should win with grace and lose with dignity. People should develop chess as a skill, not only to compete with others during a tournament but to engage in as a recreational activity during one’s spare time too. Chess is an incredibly beneficial pastime, because playing chess results in better brain function, improved memory and cognitive abilities, strategic thinking and attention improvement. Chess, at School is particularly encouraged from this point of view. Most children enjoy playing the game simply as a recreational activity, while it is works alongside to boost their mental faculties. Of course, it is a moment of immense pride when our students are selected to play in competitions, particularly at the national level. This year our students from our Montessori School qualified to compete in the State championship. The state level Chess Championship was held from 8th & 9th August, 2025. Our students were named the top four in the U-19 state championship. They then proceeded to participate in the state championship. We are all very proud of our team.


The Pre-Primary Section of Montessori I-Kids organized PTM on 26th July, 2025 from 9 a.m to 12 p.m. The event witnessed around 85% attendance thus displaying enthusiastic interest among parents for the smooth working and progress of the school. The main objective of the meeting was to create a common platform, where teacher and parents come together to discuss student’s performance and devise ways to enrich their learning experience. The teachers briefed the parents about their ward’s performance during first term. Together they identified the areas of strength and weakness of the child and sorted out ways to boost the child’s performance. Parents were encouraged to appreciate student’s participation in all academic activities. This helped to create the necessary consciousness among parents to stimulate their interest in the students and the school. They gave their view points and suggestions to teachers regarding the school and its development. Handouts were personally given to each parent to enlighten them about vision, mission, core values and objectives. The meeting helped to create better understanding between parents and teachers and build harmonious relationship between the school and the community.


The “Sip, Snack, and Slay” program in schools refers to a variety of extracurricular activities or events that combine social and creative elements, often with a focus on personal development or skill-building. The “Sip” and “Snack” aspects typically involve refreshments and a relaxed atmosphere, while “Slay” implies a sense of accomplishment, confidence, or style. These programs can range from art workshops where participants create and enjoy refreshments to more casual gatherings focused on social interaction and personal growth.






In connection with Swachha Andhra Day,” Paper to purpose” program developed hands on experience of paper bag making along with raised awareness on environmental benefits of paper bag over plastic bag usage. Moreover students of grade 6 celebrated World emoji day which boosted team work and enhanced emoji literacy and showcased their spontaneity tale spinning ability as well.
